Program Dates
Work & Travel USA - 12 months allows eligible Uni
or TAFE/Polytechnic students to work
in the USA for a maximum of 12 months
and to travel at the end of their
working period for up to a maximum
of 30 days.
Choose the departure date that suits you.
Summer Work & Travel USA allows eligible students
to work in the USA for a maximum of 3 months and to travel
at the end of their working period for up to a maximum
of 30 days.
Australian and New Zealander students can work in the
USA between the following dates:
November 15th- February 28th*
 Your work dates will be based on the length of your
vacation break from uni or TAFE. You will then be allowed
to travel in the USA at the end of your program for up
to 30 days.
Important Note: It is very important
that you check with your university
or TAFE/Polytechnic college the exact
date your course is due to commence
in 2010 as the Consulate will check
your program dates against their official
university & TAFE
records. The Consulate will not approve
visas if the working dates extend into
the 2010 class schedule. If you are
unsure of your program dates please
