Student Placement Australia would like to congratulate Linda Park from Earlwood, NSW, for being the second winner of the Work and Travel USA Competition. Linda will receive a $500 discount off her Work and Travel USA program fee.
Linda was understandably delighted after she was told that she'd won the monthly draw:

I'm planning on moving to Manhattan for a year or so to apply for journalism internships. I'll probably head off in December this year or early January next year.

Her response to how working and travelling in the USA would enhance her future career prospects was “As a prospective journalist struggling in this already competitive industry, Manhattan (major media hub of the world) is just the place I need to be!”
There’s still a couple of months to go in the competition so why not put your thinking caps on and enter as many times as you can? There’s no maximum number of times you can enter and you might save yourself $500!
